Wandering Home
It's been a while since I have posted here. I've quite literally left the table, I hope you'll forgive me. If you have been following along on social media, you may have realised that for the past two months I have been rather nomadic, currently in between homes as I move (permanently) from the USA back to Australia. It is an exciting time. I've made it all beautifully complicated by travelling (and eating) all over the place, prolonging the journey and therefore the move from Jacksonville to the South Coast of New South Wales. I've gone from Florida to South Carolina to California, then all the way across the pond to see friends and old homes in London, to visit family and old friends in Örebro, Sweden, to wander my favourite city, Stockholm and now, to spend time with my dearest and most beloved friend in Basel, Switzerland. There are currently 6 more sleeps until I make it back to Sydney with a stop in Paris and many more delicious European meals in between. It's true - I love to travel to see my dear friends and family, but I love even more to eat. Which is why you should be excited. Because, although travelling, I have still been documenting all sorts of kitchen mischief and recipies on the way - camera always out - pictures all waiting patiently to be shared with you when I get back.
Until then, I will leave you with a few of my most recent instagram images from my time in London, Örebro and Stockholm. If you're not already, come on over and follow along @leanandmeadow. There is also a special little hashtag #leanandmeadowwanderinghome.
Thank you a tremendous amount for your patience and for still keeping in touch. I love each and every one of your emails/messages/comments - they always keep making my day so much more special and full of thanks. Feel free to keep letting me know that you are all still out there. I would love that.
Sending warmth and love as I wander.
Lean. x
